HC1MD/7 by NE8Z will be from the Papallacta Volcano today, starting at 2345Z going to tomorrow at about 1500Z.
He will be "down inside the cone" of the volcano in Napo Province in the Amazon jungle, CW only.
Look for him on 7001, 10103 and 14003 with his FT-857 to an Outbacker vertical.
Rick says, "If you work me, please send me an email if you notice an unusual echo on my CW Signal."
He says he usually notices echoes on received signals from that QTH, which he thinks may be from being down in the caldera.
