On December 27, the fourth launch from the Vostochny cosmodrome took place. Two Russian remote sensing satellites Canopus-V were launched into orbit.
For the first time, information was obtained from the devices with a 12-bit radiometric resolution, which made it possible to significantly improve the image quality.
The grouping of Kanopus-V satellites is intended for the operational monitoring of man-made and natural emergencies, and the presence of several spacecraft in it allows us to increase the frequency of the earth’s surface and make satellite information more operational.
