KL7RRC St Paul Island News 13 December 2023
So the conditions. The guys are working hard. Some phone but still a lot of FT8 just to get as many as possible in the log. The receiving antennas are helping a lot. In the morning the ops have two presentations at the local school about Ham radio. One for the young ones and one for the older ones. So will be off air during the presentations.

Have about 48 hours left. A weather break on Thursday. We had some good openings into EU the last 2 days with good propagation and some 5K QSOs at this time. We were hoping for more but conditions as it were is what it is. I am thinking of trying again in the summer but still WX is a big consideration. We have tons of fog in the summer so will see what happens. We made a lot of friends on this trip. So see how it goes and of course propagation changes a lot. Instead of 3 hour window to EU we will have 13hours.
    Regards NL8F
