T44DX will be active from March 21 to 25, 2024 as IOTA NA-056
T44DX is a special joint expedition that brings together operators of stations T45FM, T43A and T41DX who will be activating the Isla de la Juventud, a special municipality in Cuba, which has not been activated as IOTA NA-056 for several years. With the objective of achieving the greatest amount of DX in the indicated period, this expedition intends to be in the ether in the HF bands from 160 to 10M and in VHF in 2M and 70cm, the latter, in the mode of satellites such as ISS. and SO-50.
The operators in charge: CO5MK, CM3EFM, CO2LKY, CO2ROD, CM2ARY, CO1ND, CO1CB, CM1YC and CL1MAC
Bands: 160M, 80M, 60M, 40M, 30M, 20M, 17M, 15M, 12M, 10M, 2M and 70CM
Modes: SSB, CW, RTTY, SSTV, FT8, FT4, FM and SATELLITE.
QSO confirmation notice:
-In the FT8 and FT4 mode, the contact will be saved in the log by sending RR73 or RRR.
-The QSLs will be Via RW6HS, digital QSLs are not accepted, after a while they will be confirmed in LOTW, EQSL and QRZ.COM.
-In the case of QSOs with national Colleagues, the QSL will only be sent as long as the correspondent's is received. T44DX is not obliged to send the QSL if you do not send yours, so it will not be claimable.
