Thank you for posting this. Joe Hypnarowski is my uncle on my mother's side. He was like a father to me when I was growing up. He was an incredible person and he sure did love his interest in the radio (since he was a kid). I appreciate seeing this memory of him. Thanks.

He was born in 1944. "Joe operated from Grand Cayman for over 40 years, and was a stalwart in many of the DX contests" remembers his friend K8MFO, Don Karvonen.
