Henry Greeb, N8XX from Rockford, USA passed away 26 February 2019.
Information from Jeffrey Maass, K8ND:
I have just received word that Hank Greeb N8XX became a silent key Tuesday morning.
I first met Hank back in the early 1970s, when we were both involved in the communications for the TOSRV bicycle tour each year. Hank would set up his portable station at Lake White State Park in the southern part of the route, final food stop before the overnight site in Portsmouth. His call at the time was W8CHT, and then N8XX ("N8 Double-Cross").
He was the ARRL Ohio Section Communications Manager (SCM) in 1974 to 1978 (six years before my own terms).
He moved to Michigan a few years ago, but he was generally forgiven for that transgression.
