Walter C. Marshall, W7SE from Laramie, Wyoming, USA passed away 30 August 2019.
Information from K5KG:
The world lost another great ham this morning. Walter Marshall, W7SE, became a SK today. Walt's XYL, Dolores, let me know that he passed away at home a few hours ago. Walt had suffered from cancer for the past few years.
I was fortunate to have spent last weekend with Walt and Dolores, where we had a wonderful visit recalling our many years of friendship.

Walt was a Navy veteran, and retiree from Aramco where he worked in Houston and Saudi Arabia. Following retirement from Aramco, Walt and Dolores moved to Walt's "dream QTH" outside of Laramie, Wyoming. Walt had a formidable antenna farm, contest station and impressive woodworking shop. Walt also raised and raced champion fly-ball dogs. Walt had a long ham radio history as a DX'er, contester, and low-band enthusiast. Walt operated from HZ1AB during his years in Saudi, and in 1998, was a member of the 3B7RF Dxpedition to St. Brandon. In 2014, he was on the support team for WRTC2014, where he manned his impressive field kitchen at the NR5M/W2GD station.

Walt and his "Wyoming multiplier" will be greatly missed by many in the ham community.
