Michael was born in Manhattan and lived in Clark and Glen Ridge, prior to moving to Bloomfield 38 years ago. He received his BS in Electrical Engineering from NJIT and was a member of the NJIT NYC Metro Alumni since 2016.
Michael was a Communication Engineer at Parson’s Transportation in Newark and New York City for 6 years. He was an amateur “Ham” radio operator since he was 10 years old. His call sign was “WV2ZOW”. He was a member of the Radio Club of America since 1981 and was elevated to a Fellow and was also a Board Member. He was a member of the Girl Scout Heart of New Jersey and was the recipient of their Honor Pin.
Michael was predeceased by his father Gerald Clarson. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Jean (Murzenski) Clarson; his devoted daughter of Sara Jean Clarson; his loving mother Vera (Gurin) Clarson and his dear brother Richard John Clarson and his wife Christine.
