William H. Parry, W5VX from Edinburg, Texas, USA, passed away 15 July 2021, after a two year battle with cancer.
Information from his qrz page:
I have been licensed since 1958 with the original call of KN5TSR. I have always enjoyed chasing DX and contesting.
In 2001 I retired from my job as principal at a large area high school and moved to the country. I finally have a location that allows me to have a larger tower and get away from the noise in town. I installed a 120 foot tower with a Force 12 C3E and Cushcraft 2 element 40 at the top. I have a full sized sloper on 80 and inverted vee on 160. My rig is a FT2000 and Alpha 87A amp. I have completed 9B DXCC, Honor Roll #1, and 5B WAZ.
