Ray Burlingame-Goff, G4FON from Saffron Walden, England, passed away 29 July 2021.
Ray was active Radio Amateur.

First licensed as G8HMH in 1973 and then G4FON in 1976, I passed the exams in 1970.
In 1981 I moved to America, returning in 1989. During that time I held reciprocal licenses - first in W9 and then in W1.
In 2006 I took the American exams and now hold the call sign N4FON.
More recently, I took out the German call sign DG4FON and am often active from my other home in Heidelberg.
I operate pretty much exclusively CW, but can occasionally be heard on data modes and more rarely on SSB!
