During various work assignments held the following calls: C6ACZ, K4JAT,VP2AAP, VP2LU, VP2MD, VP5FP, VP7BE, VP7BG, VQ8BQ, W1TBS, ZD8FP
Retired in 1997 from Lockheed Martin where I worked for 31 years on Government contracts, primarily with the Military Services and NASA. Also worked in retail and hotel management, as well as with the Federal Communications Commission.
My work took me to live in 9 countries and a half dozen states. I was able to be active in ham radio in a number of these locations.
I serve as Secretary and Newsletter Editor for the Florida Contest Group. I chase DX on HF, 6 Meters and the digital modes and am active in pursuit of some of the major awards.
Currently hold DXCC Challenge, 10BDXCC, DXCC Honor Roll, QRP DXCC, 6 Meter DXCC, WPX Award of Merit, 5BWAZ Basic.
