I was first licensed in 1953 as WN1YIF, a novice then. I went on to get my General license the following year and in 1996 took my Advanced and Extra exam in the same day to become an Extra Class.
The picture is of my wife, Orise and myself on vacation at Sea Gull beach, Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
