W7TSQ, Robert C. Preston (1929-2017), from Edmonds, a QSL manager and member of the Western Washington DX Club and the A-1 Operators Club passed in April.
He had 338/348 (current/total) confirmed in the ARRL DXCC Mixed program.
Bob worked on projects for Boeing including the 747 aircraft, and "maritime projects" including the Patrol Hydrofoil Pegasus and the Commercial Jetfoil.
He retired as a Commander in the US Navy Reserve.
He helped develop the Saturn V rocket for NASA.
These activities took him to many places around the world.
He was also an organizer of the Pacific Northwest DX Convention.
