She was active Radio Amateur, active DXer and Contester.

FOC annonced the tragic passing of Svata Visser, OZ7YL ( FOC member #1049 of more than 54 years) on December 4th.

"BORNHOLM - On Monday around 17:15 there was a serious traffic accident at the intersection between Nexøvej and Ravnsgårdsvejen between Aakirkeby and Bodilsker. The Bornholm Police state that a 78-year-old woman has died after being hit by a car. The woman is of Czech origin, but with Danish citizenship and residence on Bornholm. The woman has been identified, but has no immediate relatives in Denmark, the police said. The woman crossed the road in the dark and was hit by a car in which three people were sitting. The three people in the car are all uninjured."
She joined FOC in May 1969, and passed on Monday December 4th. She was a great CW operator.
