Slavko Celarc, S57DX ex YU3BQ, YU3TUX from Vrhnika, Slovenia, passed away 4 February 2024.

I visited Slavko some ten years ago. The club station S59EIJ was shared by his family and other members, and it was one of the most active amateur stations in Slovenia.
A couple of years later, I recall, a winter storm destroyed most of the antennas at this site, but they were restored.
Slavko alone has logged almost one million contacts using this call S57DX since 1992 and has been spotted over twenty seven thousand times in the past 20 years.
It is sad and too frequent, but inevitable, to see friends, and people I knew, pass away.
