Associazione Radioamatori Italiani President I2MQP, Pietro Mario Ambrosi, has passed away. Mario had been the President for several decades and had the passion and energy to grow Italy's national Amateur Radio organization. He was both a DXer and Contesters and a member of the ARI DX Club Contest Team.
I2MQP had 339/356 (current/total) confirmed in the ARRL DXCC Mixed standings.
He also gave back to the hobby as a QSL manager for multiple stations.
