France's oldest Amateur Radio Operator, and possibly the world's oldest ham, F8IL, Jean Tout, has passed away. He was 109 years old!
Several months ago he stopped operating his rig. Up until late 2016 he was carrying on daily QSOs on 80 meters CW with other French stations.
Jean was a member of REF and UFT.
