In honor of this tournament, Russia's IARU member-society named SRR (Soyuz Radiolyubitelei Rossii) organizes Radio Marathon Activity dedicated to the World Football Cup 2018, starting from 00:00 UTC June 1st, 2018 - 14:00 UTC July 15th, 2018.
Some Special Event Stations will be active during this period. As member of FIFA, Special Indonesian callsign YB18FIFA will also be among those active Special Event Stations around the world and take part in this Radio Marathon on HF Bands by all kind of modes (CW, Phone, Digital).
There will be Awards to be issued in 3 classes : Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Complete information on applicable rules to earn these awards as well as list of participants can be found on site fwc18.hamlogs.net
All successful QSOs with YB18FIFA will be uploaded to LoTW.
