GB5LPS. This station is multipurpose and is to raise funds for Legsby Primary School and also for educational purposes for the pupils of Legsby Primary School and will only operate on the 7th July 2017.
Located at the base of the Lincolnshire Wolds IO93ui, Legsby is a small rural village 4 miles south east of Market Rasen with the nearest shops and other facilities at Market Rasen as the village only boasts the school and St Thomas C of E church.
The Station will be QRP 5 Watts using my FT817 on the Morse bands the aerial will be two Clansman kevlare wire HF aerials configured as an inverted V doublet at 30ft.
We will also be operating a 34 Watt VHF station for the pupils to send greatings messages localy.
