“DR6ØSAL” is a special Event-Call-Sign for the commemoration of the political reintegration of the SAARLAND region into the Federal Republic of Germany 60 years ago, on January 1st.1957.
The “Saar-Polygon”, visible on the QSL card, is a central monument in the Federal German State of SAARLAND, to commemorate 250 years coal mining in the region. It is situated on the slag heap of the former “Duhamel” coal mine Ensdorf, Saarland.
The memorial was constructed in 2012. Its height above ground is 30 meter. Visitors can walk to the top of the structure. The last coal mine in the State of Saarland was closed in the same year; definitely ending the coal mining era in Saarland.

Le monument “Polygon sarreois”, visible sur la carte qsl est un monument en mémoire de l`exploitation de la houille pendant 250 ans au district sarreois.
Le monument a été construit 2012 sur le turril (la butte artificielle des résidus) de l´ancienne mine DUHAMEL de ENSDORF/Sarre. Hauteur du monument au dessus du sol: 30 mètres.
Il est accessible aux visiteurs.
Après 250 ans d`exploitation de charbon, 2012 la derniere houillère dans la region saaroise a été fermé. C`était la fin irrémédiable de l`exploitation minière en Sarre.

Das auf der QSL-Karte ersichtliche Saar-Polygon ist ein zentrales Denkmal im Saarland in Erinnerung an 250 Jahre Kohlebergbau in dieser Region. Es befindet sich auf der Bergehalde der ehemaligen Grube Duhamel in Ensdorf/Saar.
Das Polygon wurde 2012 erbaut und ist 30 Meter hoch. Es ist begehbar für Besucher.
Nach 250 Jahre Bergbau schloss die letzte Grube im Saarland im Jahr 2012. Dieser Zeitpunkt war das definitive Ende des Kohlebergbaus an der Saar.
