75yrs Anniversary of (Mi Amigo) B17 Bomber, American Flying Fortress crash landed in Endcliffe Park Sheffield during the WW2 on 22nd February 1944. the story goes that the crew were attempting to make an emergency landing on the field in the park but after witnessing Tony Foulds and his friends playing in the field the aircraft diverted and crash landed into the trees near by, killing all of the ten crew.
