    RCN Solec Kujawski - Radio Broadcasting Center in Solec Kujawski, was officially launched on September 4, 1999. It is a 225 kHz long-wave broadcasting station, designed to receive the first Polish Radio Program throughout Poland and in neighboring countries and with favorable propagation conditions is received at the edges of Europe. The long-wave transmitter with a maximum power of 1200 kW was constructed by the French company Thomcast. It consists of three blocks with a maximum power (carrier wave) of 400 kW, while each block of 256 modules using MOSFET transistors (over 6100 power transistors in the entire transmitter). The two quarter-wave masts are 330 and 289 meters high and each is supported by five levels of guy ropes. From December 1, 2015, residents of most of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship can also use masts from Solec Kujawski to listen to Polish Radio programs brodcasted digitally. The multiplex in DAB+ technology is broadcasted on channel 11A (frequency 216,928MHz) and in addition to nationwide and thematic programs also includes the program of the Regional Radio Station of Polish Radio Pomerania and Kujawy in Bydgoszcz - "Radio PiK".

    Solec Kujawski (until 1924 Solec) - a royal city founded in 1325. Located in the central part of Kujawy and the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship, in the Bydgoszcz district, the seat of the urban-rural commune of Solec Kujawski. It lies on the left bank of the Vistula at a distance of 20 km from Bydgoszcz (west) and 35 km from Toruń (east). The area located south of the city is covered by one of the largest forest complexes in Poland - the Bydgoszcz Forest. The title of Honorary Citizen of Solec Kujawski is held by: Jolanta Kwaśniewska, Irena Santor, Walter Rudolf, Krzysztof Michalski, priest. Tadeusz Zabłocki, Antoni Nawrocki. According to data from January 1, 2018, Solec Kujawski had 15,661 inhabitants.
