The starting point for a very strange story was December 2, 1719, which still fascinates people today. Scientists writers and composers have created numerous works based on this event.
When mining copper ore 150 m below ground level in Falu Coppermine, the miners found the body of a young miner. It was judged by the condition of the body that the man had not been there very long, and they carried him up to the surface. Once up, people began flocking to to see who it was who had lost their lives. Strangely, no one recognized the man in the beginning, and the rumor that they had found an unknown man in the mine spread across the city of Falun. More and more people came to see the corpse. After a while an old woman passing by. Then something strange happened ... The moment the old woman saw the corpse she screamed and cried out to the man in question was her fiancé!
