The theme “man, nature, harmony” incentivises to find out how man can live and work in harmony with nature. The focus lies on the protection of natural diversity and sustainable regional development. In 2014, the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Rhön was recognized as international star park by the Dark Sky Association.
