Radio Amateurs from Germany will be active with special call DR60ANT from Germany, 1 June - 31 December 2021, commemorating 60th Anniversary of the Antarctic Treaty.
They will operate on HF Bands.

On June 23rd 1961, the Antarctic Treaty entered into force. It was the first international treaty to ban nuclear testing, amongst other military activities, within a specified region.The Treaty applies to the area south of 60° South Latitude, including all ice shelves and islands.
