Radio Amateurs members of the Ecuador DX Club will be active with special call HD1O from Ecuador, 7 - 8 August 2021, commemorating Quito Luz de America Day.
They will operate on HF Bands.

On August 10th. Ecuador remember the patriot deed of the «Quito Revolution», also known as «El primer grito de la Independencia», the day of the first declaration of independence of Quito.
During August 7th and 8th of 2021, the members of the Ecuador DX Club, will be actively transmitting, in all bands and amateur radio modes with the SPECIAL CALLSIGN HD1O, from 00:00 UTC on Saturday 7th to 23:59 hours UTC on Sunday, August 8th.
Those who participate in this SPECIAL EVENT will receive the QUITO LUZ DE AMERICA commemorative diploma.
