The student STEAM clubs at Aleko Konstantinov Primary School in Dimitrovgrad are starting a STEAM project related to the International Year of Glass - 2022, announced by the United Nations.
The aim is to emphasize the scientific, economic and cultural role of glass through various student activities. Glass is a material that supports many vital technologies. It facilitates sustainability and environmental friendliness in our lives, but often goes unnoticed. In addition to the Internet, which reaches us through fiberglass cables and we watch it through glass screens, the clubs will advertise the project on the world HAM radio. Students will produce many advertising and popular science materials, and in the HAM radio club LZ1KAK will work from the club radio station with a special call sign LZ1GLASS. The materials will be published on the club's website tvschool.eu, in the LZ1GLASS section.
The production of a special QSL card and a certificate with the callsign LZ1GLASS is forthcoming.
