    Information from his qrz page:
9H6CAP, is a special call sign, to commemorate the 80 years of the destruction of the Capuchin Monastery and the Church, in Floriana, Malta; on Easter Saturday/ Sunday bomb attack, 4th-5th April 1942.
The Capuchin Monastery and its adjacent church at Floriana were built on the initiative of GrandMaster Loubens de Verdale of the Order of St John, in 1588-89. The church took a long time to be built and was ready only in 1773; it is dedicated to the Holy Cross. The church and a great part of the Monastery were destroyed by bombs during the Second World War.
Under the church, there is a crypt/vault. This crypt was excavated in the year 1775; there are prominent Maltese people buried in it. The church was rebuilt while the crypt was restored in 1953 but most of the funerary remains in the crypt were lost.
April 1942 was the worst month in the Siege of Malta in the Second World War, bringing unprecedented death and destruction to the island and robbing it of some important historic buildings. On 15th April 1942, King George Vl awarded to the Maltese islands the GEORGE CROSS to bear witness to the heroism and devotion of its people.
Malta holds the record for the heaviest, sustained bombing attack: some 154 days and nights and 6,700 tons of bombs. Malta received roughly three times as many bombs per square mile as did London, hence its designation as the most heavily bombed place on earth during WW2.
