The villa of Catllaràs is a modernist building built by Antoni Gaudí in 1905, located in La Pobla de Lillet (Berguedà), on the forest track of the mountain range of Catllaràs, about 12 km from the town center.
This work belongs to the naturalist stage of Gaudí (first decade of the twentieth century), a period in which the architect perfects his personal style, drawing inspiration from the organic forms of nature, for which he put into practice a whole series of new structural solutions originated in the deep analyzes carried out by Gaudí of regulated geometry. To this it adds a great creative freedom and an imaginative ornamental creation, since starting from certain barroquismo its works acquire great structural wealth, of forms and volumes devoid of rationalist rigidity or of any classic premise.1
This property is registered as a Cultural Property of Local Interest (BCIL) in the Catalan Cultural Heritage Inventory with the code IPA-31201.
