COMMEMORATIVE OPERATION TO 200 YEARS OF THE GRANDE ORIENTE DO BRASIL - GOB
The Grande Oriente do Brasil (GOB), founded on June 17, 1822, is the oldest Brazilian Masonic Power and this year 2022 celebrates its bi-centennial.
The GOB actively participated in crucial moments in Brazilian history, such as the abolition of slavery, the proclamation of the Republic and the Independence of Brazil.
Currently, the GOB has approximately 2,400 Lodges and nearly 100,000 members.
In honor of this important event, Hams Masons are carrying out a commemorative operation in the period from 01 to 31 May 2022 using special callsigns with the suffix GOB.
There is no restriction on bandwidth or mode of operation.
All hams and SWL who make contact with at least two commemorative stations with a GOB suffix will be provided, at no cost, with digital certificate.
The application for the certificate must be sent to the e-mail log.gob200anos@gmail.com until June 30, 2022 and must comply with the following format:
