Government of India and Ministry of Telecom is also favoring and encouraging HAM radio study, new certifications and development specifically to the youth community. And we see a large participation of Indian HAM communities during celebration of community based events and disasters. Parks On The Air- India is a HAM community with a different approach, concept of Parks On The Air can be a game changer, where we are able to infuse the urge to know HAM Radio Technologies by engaging present HAMs and Young enthusiast by giving them a sense of Adventure and how to act and setup HAM Radio Stations on real scenarios like earthquake, Flood and other disasters. As on today we are Celebrating the Week for AACHARYA JAGADISH CHANDRA BOSE, India scientist who was pioneer in doing experiments with Radio waves, discovered and proved many fascinating facts, POTA India is celebrating the occasion from 23rd November to 30th November 2022 by organizing few planned events related to HF Radio with a Special CallSign - AT8JCB, This event is organized by myself, VU3XRY, VU3IBL, VU3YDA, VU3IZV. We will be activating Mohanpur Forest Park (VU-0136) on 27th November 2022, as an official POTA event and will communicate with all other HAMs in Indian and other parts of the World. Along with this We are also Organising Webinar based talk show along with Team OSCAR (OPEN SOURCE CLASSES FOR AMATEUR RADIO), who are committed to provide education and awareness to all walks of life to become a HAM or Amatuer Radio Operator. Our MOTO is to take AMATEUR RADIO to Masses. AMATEUR RADIO as second line of communication in Emergencies.
