DL17UBOOT - U17 - Germany

DL17UBOOT is a special event station on the occasion of the transfer of the former German Navy submarine U17 of the German Armed Forces.
The submarine will be transferred from April 28 to May 21, 2023 from Kiel via Dordrecht /PA across the Rhine to Speyer and the Technik Museum Speyer.
We do not collect QSL cards, after the end of activation on May 31, 2023,
the QSOs made will be automatically confirmed via QSL card, via LotW, via DCL and eQSL.

QSOs that count for the award must fulfill the following conditions:
Only QSOs with DL17UBOOT are valid.
QSOs from April 15th 2023 until May 31st 2023.
Modes are aggregated. For example FM and SSB count as Phone and RTTY and FT8 count as Digital. Based on this we have the mainmodes PHONE, DIGITAL and CW. Working DL17UBOOT on the same band in the same mainmode is considered as a dupe QSO and does not count for the award. Any other combination counts as a valid QSO.

The following award levels are available:
Bronze: 2 valid QSOs with DL17UBOOT
Silver: 5 valid QSOs with DL17UBOOT
Gold: 10 valid QSOs with DL17UBOOT
Platinum: 15 valid QSOs with DL17UBOOT
For SWLs the same levels apply, please send a QSO list that contains date, time, call of the station that worked DL17UBOOT, band and mode to dm4eax@darc.de.
