    OT20CW - Liege - Belgium

Radio Amateurs from Belgium will be active with special call OT20CW from Liege, Belgium, during May 2023, commemorating 20th Anniversary UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible.
They will operate on HF Bands.
    QSL via ON6YH, LOTW, eQSL.
    Information from their QRZ page:
The intangible cultural heritage is expressed through gestures, know-how and craft practices.
It gives us a sense of identity and continuity as it links past generations to those of today and tomorrow. It expresses our cultural and social values.
It allows the practicionners to be proud of their know-how, to belong to a community, to connect with people by sharing knowledge.

This heritage is so important that, for 20 years, it has been protected by the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
In 2021, the practice of Morse code has obtained the title of Masterpiece of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.

To celebrate this recognition and the anniversary of the UNESCO Convention, BIPT authorizes access to a transmitting station with a special call sign during May 2023. The code will be OT20CW (T = Telegraphy) (20 = 20th anniversary) (CW = Morse).
Morse code transmissions are particularly encouraged during this month.
