    Аlexander Ignatievich Ulasovets (July 26, 1901 - January 23, 1945) -
    veteran of the Great Patriotic War, Colonel, Hero of the Soviet

    Union (10/26/1943).

    Born on July 26, 1901 in the village of Lopatichi, Slutsk district, Minsk region.

    In the Red Army since 1922.

    In June 1942 A.I. Ulasovets fights at Stalingrad, on the Oryol-Kursk Bulge, where fierce battles took place.

    From April to December 1943, he commanded the 224th Guards Rifle Regiment, whose soldiers, on the night of September 25, 1943, crossed the Dnieper River near the village of Borodaevka, Dnepropetrovsk region of Ukraine, seized and expanded the bridgehead, inflicting significant damage to the Nazis in manpower and military equipment.

    On October 26, 1943, for the skillful command of the regiment, exemplary performance of the combat missions of the command on the front of the struggle against the Nazi invaders and the courage and heroism of the guards, Lieutenant Colonel Ulasovets Alexander Ignatievich was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal ( No. 1417).

    Guards Colonel Ulasovets A.I. died a heroic death in battle on January 23, 1945 during the liberation of Poland, four kilometers from the Warta River.

    A street in the city of Slutsk, Minsk region of Belarus, is named after the Hero.

    The grandson of Alexander Ivanovich Ulasovets, Alexander R6HM (ex RV3DDZ), takes part in the work of the memorial radio station R77UAI.
