Blaise Pascal, born June 19, 1623 in Clermont in Auvergne and died August 19, 1662 in Paris, was a French mathematician, physicist, inventor, philosopher, moralist and theologian. A precocious child, he was educated by his father. The first works of Pascal relate to the natural and applied sciences.
