In France, a few TSF enthusiasts from the Société de TSF française in Juvisy-sur-Orge published the magazine "TSF" on 9 April 1914. Four months later, a few dozen wireless enthusiasts were members of the Société de TSF.
In 1914, 23 experimental private radio sets were authorised to transmit between set times: from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m., from 9 a.m. to 10.45 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
