The Philippine Amateur Radio Association, Inc. (PARA) proudly joins the global amateur radio community in commemorating a historic milestone, the 100th anniversary of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU). As the nationally recognized umbrella organization for amateur radio operators in the Philippines, PARA Inc. remains steadfast in promoting innovation, public service, and camaraderie within the ham radio community.
To honor this significant global celebration, PARA Inc. has officially requested the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) to issue the special event call sign “DX100IARU.” This call sign represents the Philippines' enduring commitment to amateur radio, highlighting a century of international cooperation, technical achievement, and unwavering public service.

Operators across the Philippines are invited to participate in activating DX100IARU on various amateur bands — including voice, CW, and digital modes such as FT-8.
