Radio Amateurs members of the Australian Ladies Amateur Radio Association will be active using special call sign VI7ALARA from Hobart, Tasmania Island, IOTA OC - 006, Australia, 9 August - 8 November 2023.
They will operate on HF Bands.

The Australian Ladies Amateur Radio Association (ALARA) was founded in 1975.
In early November 2023 ALARA will hold it's 3 yearly ALARA Meet in Hobart, Tasmania, after a 6 year break.
The Meet is held in a different Australian State each time, and is open to both VK & DX YL's.
The Special Event callsign VI7ALARA will be active on all HF Bands from August 9th 2023 until November 8th 2023.
The call will be activated by a number of YL operators in VK7 (Tasmania), and around the rest of VK.
QSL's will be via Club Log and OQRS and will be processed at the end of the 3 month activation.
