    Hello!

I like QSL cards!!! Please send me a QSL card, I will reply and send one back!

I split my time between Oahu and Big Island. I am married to Sidik WH6FUS. I also spend time with family in Texas, New Mexico and Colorado, you might hear me over there (UHF/VHF), or with a /W5 or /W0. I also operated as ZL/AH7RF when I traveled to New Zealand recently. Have antenna, will travel :-)

Right now, I mostly operate CW. I became a CWOps member in November 2022 (#3272), after taking the CW Academy classes from CWOPS. I am a co-advisor for Buzz AC6AC, for intermediate. CW Academy is amazing and a great way to learn CW!

When on Oahu, I operate QRP Portable with an Elecraft KX2. I operate from a variety of locations, mostly in various parks or beaches near Honolulu. My favorite is up in makikik/tantalus area, on a knife edge, in an ironwood forest, with a nice view of Honolulu. It's a hike to get there, but well worth it. Here is a pic of me, in my favorite ham shack, taken by N3GWR:
When on Big Island, if I am portable, I am QRP, with limited antenna, often in a park or at the beach. If I am at home, I operate either QRP or 100W, depending on my mood. I have a 1 el quad with an armstrong rotator, limited to rotating about 90 degrees. It is usually aimed at either north america or australia.
