Hello and welcome to my site!
Because I´m a volunteer paramedic and firefighter, I want to use the call sign OE6YHOTA to bring my young colleagues from the Trofaiacher organisations of emergency (Fire Brigade and Red Cross Austria) to the world of Ham Radio.
Young Helpers on the Air - YHOTA is a project that involves:
•The fascination of Ham Radio live
•With young people from emergency organisations around the world, to get in contact with the people.
•To meet new friends
•Promote the communication and cooperation between the youth groups of emergency organisations globally, regionally and locally.
•To make the youth work a little more interesting
•Foreign language skills
The youth groups of the volunteer fire brigades and the Austrian Red Cross from our hometown Trofaiach are happy to be part of this event.
We work on:
•SW (80m, 40m, 20m, 15m)
•OE6XRE (Reichenstein > Echolink 383901)
•OE6XBG (Rennfeld)
I´m looking forward to our QSO´s and a lot of QSL-Cards,

Da ich ein ehrenamtlicher Rettungssanitäter und Feuerwehrmann bin, möchte ich mit dem Rufzeichen OE6YHOTA meinen jungen Kollegen und Kolleginnen von den Trofaiacher Einsatzorganisationen die Welt des Amateurfunks näherbringen.
Young Helpers on the Air - YHOTA ist ein Projekt, bei dem es unter anderem darum geht:
•die Faszination des Amateurfunks live zu erleben
•mit Jugendlichen aus Hilfsorganisationen und Schulsanitätsdiensten auf der ganzen Welt über den Amateurfunk Kontakt aufzunehmen
•sich auszutauschen und neue Freunde kennen zu lernen
•Die Kommunikation und Zusammenarbeit zwischen den Jugendgruppen der Hilfsorganisationen global, regional und lokal zu fördern.
•Die Jugendarbeit vor Ort ein wenig interessanter zu gestalten
•Fremdsprachenkenntnisse anzuwenden
Die Jugendgruppen der Freiwilligen Feuerwehren und des Österreichischen Roten Kreuzes aus unserer Heimatstadt Trofaiach werden an diesem Event mit großer Vorfreude teilnehmen.
