The Cass Awards are given annually to DXpeditions making the most unique QSOs in a calendar year and are announced in March, two categories, single operator and unlimited. "Cass" is WA6AUD (now SK), Hugh Cassidy, aka Professor Cass, who was the editor, printer and mailman for the West Coast DX Bulletin, which was published from 1968 to 1979.
This year's winners are SP9FIH, Janusz Wegrzyn, who got the 2022 Single-Operator Cass Award for his FJ/SP9FIH Saint Barts Island operation...
And the 2022 Unlimited Cass Award goes to RA1ZZ, Vasily Sukhanov; R7AL, Vasily Pinchuk; R9LR, Vlad Vasiljev; R5AF, Ilya Kanov; RW9JZ, Leo Berezhnoy; RW8A, Slav Rodin; R5EC, Nick Rolkunov; and R9LM, Alex Bezmenov, for the TY0RU Benin operation.
