Grant, VK5GR announce on qrz.com his plans to visit Niue Island and operate with call E6AG.

Callsign has been assigned by Niue Telecom pending final paperwork completion.

The plan is to head out there in September, with an overlap of the CQ WW RTTY contest. I will be active with 400W on 40-6m with a possibility that 80m may work as well. Taking a simple folded monopole vertical antenna with elevated feed - no beach access so it will be what ever it will be (it is a coral rock so not a lot of sand or beach to play with anyway). More details including the expedition website etc as I get the rest of the plans in order.
