SQ8X, SQ9DIE, SV2KBS, EI6FR, NI1L, SQ9C, HB9ASZ, OH2TA and K6WH will be active from Jan Mayen Island 6 - 14 July 2011 as JX7VPA.
They will focus on 40 - 6m mainly CW, RTTY, PSK with some SSB.

Hi, back in the 1960's or 70's I worked Jan Mayen Is. on 20m phone ,with 100watts pep and many VK's were surprised when I told them that the Operator on Jan Mayen had actualy called me ! They said that they had been tryng to work JM for years to complete their DXCC award. So it's always been a place dear to my heart. Best 73 Don
