VK6BP/P Koolan Island

Chris, VK6BP will be active from Koolan Island (IOTA OC-071) only one day 21 September 2015 as VK6BP/P.
He will operate only on 20m SSB.

Hi guys got an email from Chris vk6bp he will be activating OC-071
koolan Island on monday the 21/09/2015 it will be a single day
activation and hopefully more down the track.
Chris flies to the island quite often but its hard to get time for
radio This island is a mine so very hard to get any activation last
known one was 1993.
I know Chis has been working on his setup he will have dipoles plus
and amp 300w plus ic 7000 it will be a single band activation 20m he
will be active from 0400 UTC for as long a possible.

Will be on Koolan island on air Monday 0400 utc till late evening on
20 mtrs. ssb only

Chris is a new activator but an experinced ham i will try and get him
to work split and we have the advantage of it being close to he
equinox.

VK6BP/P OC-071 - Good News 21 September 2015
Chris VK6BP/P will be back on air tomorrow between 04:00 utc
and 07:00 utc tomorrow then he will be back next week and has permission to put up a multi band antenna. conditions were pretty bad tonight.
