I heard a mini pile-up on 20 meters with my 1 watt kit at 13:00 UTC from Brooklyn's Prospect Park in New York. I was probably running between 500 mw and a watt with the 6 AA's I was using for power. It only took a couple of tries to get through. I too am re-learning cw after a couple of strokes, nice way to start a new week.

Cannot get there from Scottish borders with 10w and an inverted V multiband antenna tuned to 40 and 20m. Need to up my game with a higher power and upgraded licence but difficult due to recovering from a stroke 3 months ago.Concentration and study difficult. Good luck to all making a contact.
