Dear 9G5ZZ, here is Emanuel IK2RGT, coordinator and logistic supporter for this dxpedition. Do you really think that one of the major european Dx club, the Mediterraneo Dx Club, will not have permission to operate on 80 m and 160 after one year of organization ? Do you really think that we can be so silly to post a photo with a license without permission? Situation is very simple...... Every transceiver must have a licence so we take 6 transceiver with us and we have 6 licenses 3W3MD/A for the first transceiver and so on with 3W3MD/F for the sixth and last transceiver. It' s the way that the telecom office work there. So we have a unique call 3W3MD and 6 licenses (different for allowed frequencies and bands) covering ALL the ham bands. The ARRL staff was largerly informed about this before the beginning of the dx pedition, and I can tell you that we just have the LOTW certificate in hands. Maybe a quick email to the manager or to the team leaders is the best way to clarify your doubt without posting comments here and send multiple announce on the dx cluster stating that we are not running an approved dxpedition. As you state before in the thread...... "Double check, please" 73's Emanuel, IK2RGT - W7RGT

Hi folks! Please look at 3W3MD license on dxpedition site http://www.mdxc.org/3w3md/?p=343 80-160 aren't allowed, 40 between 7,000 and 7,1000 30 betw 10,100 and 30,110 6 betw. 53,000 and 54,000 and more, their callsign is supposed to be 3W3MD/A and not 3W3MD!!! Will ARRL approve this dxpedition? Is this normal? Double check please I wait for your comments

Those antennas are packing a real punch. Great signals on all bands. Propagation is spoiling 80m the static QRN is very high.
