Iceland is a legendary country that was sung in the Viking sagas. It amazes with its picturesque nature, diverse sights and interesting culture. It is a state of contrasts. Here huge glaciers neighbor with hot springs, modern rhythm of cities - with village life, and snowy expanses of mountain peaks - with green vegetation of valleys. Even the legal system is completely based on the legislation of Denmark, although Iceland is a fully independent state. Reykjavík is the heart of the legendary state
Reykjavík is recognized by many visitors as one of the most interesting cities in Europe. Its unique location between the Old World and the New World has given the capital of Iceland a special appearance.
