St. Vincent and the Grenadines - all opportunities for profitable business and pleasant vacation
St. Vincent and the Grenadines are located in the southern zone of the Caribbean Sea. This island state is located to the north of Grenada. In the east it is washed by the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, and in the west - the Caribbean Sea. The territory of the country consists of a large island - St. Vincent. It also includes a group of 32 small islands (Grenadines) located in the Small Antilles Archipelago.
The total area of the state is 389 km2. The population is about 120 thousand people.

Climate, fauna and flora of the state
The climatic conditions of the state are influenced by the Atlantic trade winds. St. Vincent and the Grenadines are located in the climatic zone of tropics. The temperature regime on the islands of this country is relatively constant, without sharp changes. Usually it fluctuates from +18 °С (November-February) to +32 °С (July-August). The rest of the time temperatures are kept around 24-27 ° C. The greatest number of precipitations falls from May to November. Sometimes the island falls into the zone of influence of strong hurricanes.
As for the fauna, it is represented mainly by birds. The royal amazon, which is recognized as an endangered species of parrot, and the endangered subspecies of the red-throated hermit thrush can be found on the islands.
The coastal zone is rich in underwater inhabitants: crustaceans, many tropical fish and mollusks. There are also several nature reserves, both marine and on land.
The flora of most of the Grenadine Islands, unlike St. Vincent, where palms, fruit trees and other plants are abundant, is rather sparse. Few of them have their own sources of fresh water. Therefore, many islets are characterized by dryness, and possess only shrubbery.

Kingstown is the colorful capital and financial center of the state
In the southwest of St. Vincent lies a cozy harbor, protected by a bay from violent storms. It is adjacent to Kingstown, which is the capital of the state. It is the political and financial center of the country. The state is one of the largest offshore centers in the West Indies. In the capital and other places it is possible to open a company with considerable tax benefits. Therefore, in addition to tourists who want to relax and have a good time, many businessmen come to the island and Kingstown.
The capital has its own original atmosphere. Cobblestone streets attract an abundance of stores and souvenir stores. Green palm alleys that create cool shady areas, cozy squares Bedford Street, orchards on the hills, allow tired guests a little rest from the scorching afternoon sun.
The city is filled with colorful fish markets, stores selling rum and brandy. On weekdays, the capital's life revolves around the pier, bus stations and markets. On weekends and local holidays, the capital's neighborhoods fill with people.
Sightseers can check out Kingstown's famous churches. Among them especially stands out St. Mary's Cathedral, striking eccentric combination of Gothic spires, Romanesque columns and arches, as well as walls created from volcanic stone.
Also of interest to foreigners will be “St. George's.” This Anglican cathedral, built in the 19th century, delights with its colorful “Red Angel” stained glass window and attractive Gregorian style. It was sent to the capital by Queen Victoria as a gift.
Visitors to Kingstown should especially like the Methodist Church. It is located in the bay, and looks very impressive against the background of azure clear waters and blue tropical sky.
Those who wish can visit the Botanical Gardens, created back in the 18th century by Captain Willie Bligh. There are about 450 different exotic plants, including the famous “breadfruit tree”, a descendant of the first seedling personally planted by the legendary founder. And in the bird aviary you can see the beautiful Amazona Guildingii parrot, which is the “national” representative of the island's fauna.
Many tourists visit the Kingstown Market, where you can buy exotic fruits, meat, fish and vegetables. Fans of souvenirs can pick up decorative arts in the courtyard of the bazaar.
