It is only one month left to the only official contesting world championship. This contest is unique and distinguishable from all other competitions by a few factors. All organisations in the world sponsor this event through the Union.

This is a very unusual case when a small contest club in a small country is represented in the WRTC competition by four members second time in a row. Slovakia is small and not so populous, but in certain fields it is called The Tatra Tiger.

He is number one on the list of competitors in WRTC2014, representing Africa in Team AF. He is also the only participant from this huge continent, apart from two referees from South Africa. This is a paradox of short wave contesting - the highest scores in worldwide contests are generated in Africa.

The "WRTC2014 Chase" will run concurrently with the IARU HF Championship beginning on July 12 at 1200Z.

He has been on the air for 40 years now, with an interruption during the Balkan War in the 90s. It is going to be his third WRTC as a competitor, so actually he does not need a presentation for the contester community.

Walter, DJ6QT, discovered the advantage of Madeira island many years ago. I think it was in the late 60s that he first visited the floating garden of Atlantic for radio purposes.

The well-known saying claims that every man should build a house, plant a tree and have a son. I would extend this list, in case the man is a radio amateur, with one more goal – make certain that your son becomes interested in Amateur Radio.

My first visit to São Vicente took place in November 2000. I spent a few weeks in Mindelo, the only town on the island, and made thousands of CW contacts using my call sign D44CF.

WRTC2014, Inc., host of the 2014 World Radiosport Team Championship (WRTC), is pleased to announce the fifty-nine referees that will be monitoring the competing teams during the competition July 12-13, 2014.

Kuniyoshi, 7L1FPU,Yoshiki, KH0UA and Satoshi, N2QP will be active from Mariana Islands as AH0BT during the CQWW WPX SSB Contest March 28 - 29 2009.

This was my 3rd trip to Aruba at P49V/P40YL QTH. Thanks to Carl and Sue for the use of their great station again.
