In his PVRC interview CQ WW DX contest Director Bob Cox K3EST confirmed that the CQ WW 2008 contest results are being revised and, probably, some corrections in the contest results will be made and some action on the rule violators will be taken.
If I got it right from the K3EST interview, CQ WW CC does not plan any observer visitations for CQ WW DX SSB 2009 but does plan representative visitations for CQ WW DX CW 2009.
Bob did not say how many representatives would be used or how many stations would be observed but he accented that the entrants would be informed about the planned visitations.
The contest rules have been changed.
It is my understanding that many entrants will have to prove their last year results and furthermore prove that they were made in accordance with the contest rules. Final CQ WW DX contest results should be available soon in the CQ Magazine K1AR column.
